War and Sanctions: The enemy uses a large version of the Gerber UAV with an increased range, capable of carrying a warhead weighing up to 25 kg. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine publishes an interactive 3D model, information about the components and electronic component base of the Gerber-2 UAV on the War&Sanctions portal. The adversary has significantly improved the Gerber UAVs, which were initially developed as false targets for loading air defense. In the first versions there were modifications "surrounding" and "kamikaze", but the devices remained quite simple and cheap. Gradually, their "clogging" began to approach the equipment of much more expensive UAVs of the "Garney" type: "comets", network modems, cheap cameras on gimbal mounts. Recently, the enemy began using an enlarged version of "Gerbera". The new model has a wingspan of 3 m and a body length of 2.6 m. Thanks to the new 63-liter fuel tank, the UAV can travel a distance of up to 1,200 km. To keep the board stable during maneuvers, the tank inside is divided into separate parts. The two-stroke, two-cylinder engine is actually half of the Grani-2 engine, which was produced locally in Alavez. In the tested sample, a high incendiary OFZBCH-10 warhead weighing 10 kg and separate bags with an incendiary mixture were used. According to the characteristics announced by the enemy, the UAV can carry a warhead weighing up to 25 kg. Electronics "Garbari-2" consists of an updated flight controller, 12 channels "Shavit", a network modem manufactured by Shenzhen Sinoson Technology Co., Ltd. (PRC) and a new video processing unit "Sausage", which is implemented on the basis of the Chinese Cola Pi microcomputer.
The sample tested had a dual IP camera mounted on the fuselage above the fuel tank and was designed to detect interceptors. Versions with standard IP cameras and cameras with three-axis mounts are also available.
Most of the components in the new "Harbour" are produced by Chinese (8) and American (4) manufacturers.
