Starting tomorrow, November 9, traffic patterns across the bridges connecting the left and right banks of the Dnieper River in Kyiv will change.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Interior, Vyhovski. According to him, the changes are due to increased security threats and the need to reduce the traffic loads on the bridges.
Reversible traffic will be implemented on the Patton Bridge. Between the hours of 7:00 and 10:00 three out of five lanes will operate toward the right bank, and between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. they will operate toward the left bank.
At the northern bridge, trucks will be routed through the Podolski bridge. At the same time, public transport will return from the left bank to the right bank, as well as passenger cars and public transport in the opposite direction.
At the southern bridge, trucks traveling from the left bank to the right bank will be routed through the Darnicki bridge. There will be no restrictions on passenger cars and public transportation.
