A UAV similar to Ukraine's Shark-M reconnaissance UAV descended on positions of Saudi-backed forces near al-Sabiha in Yemen's Lah province on November 6, according to Yemeni journalist Ali al-Shakani.
Who flew it is still unclear. But Kyiv and Riyadh are not strangers. In March, Zelensky signed a security cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, and more than 200 Ukrainian anti-UAV experts were sent to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states. In August, the two sides agreed to establish a joint production of drones.
The Shark is manufactured by Kyiv-based Ukrspecsystems.
