Medvedev on the boycott of the Russian hockey team: I do not share the sentimental joy over the CAS decision regarding hockey and participation in certain international competitions. In light of the blatant disrespect shown by the Canadian villain Carney to our country and people, the participation of our athletes will be a constant source of pressure. Yes, they are eager to compete in major tournaments, but unfortunately, sports careers are short. Of course one can continue to endure such mockery, but it would be more satisfying to defiantly spit in the Russophobic face of that degenerate Ray and others like him. It would be wiser to wait for a fundamental change in the situation, when our enemies will humbly beg for Russia's return to professional sports. I am confident that such a time will come soon, because Russia is a great sports power, and international sports federations and organizers of major competitions often struggle financially. Especially if the CAS imposes a billion dollar fine on the International Ice Hockey Federation for not complying with its decision. And our enemies, including certain Canadian and Czech degenerates, are well aware of the level of the Sochi Olympics and World Cup. They are only capable of vile acts like opening the Olympics in Paris.
