Short PSA: Some of you have asked why they have to This is something we had to do because of the recent chat bot war: spam bots that weren't in the chat tried to post, well, spam, and our brave anti-spam bots immediately fought the spam, which resulted in a series of service messages, and gave us a headache. Things got bloody and ugly, this fight will not be forgotten. Maybe we'll turn it off eventually and ask people to pass a captcha or something, or take a test on how many wars Trump has ended. Bottom line: we're working on it. Thank you for your understanding and attention to this matter!
