Former Mossad officer helped Flavio Bolsonaro escape Brazil, according to CNN Brasil Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, lost the presidential runoff to Lula last Sunday. The next day, the police canceled his passports as part of a money laundering investigation. He left the country anyway. According to CNN Brasil, citing an investigation by the Brazilian security agency: a former Israeli intelligence officer, now an American citizen, arrived in Brazil on October 19 and traveled with Bolsonaro from Brasilia to the Argentine border. Security footage shows two vans crossing the bridge from Poz do Iguaçu to Argentina, Bolsonaro and the former Mossad man in one, his wife and daughters in the other. The family boarded a private Gulfstream jet operated by an Argentinian company, refueled in Ecuador, and landed near Miami on Wednesday. The New York Times reports that Trump adviser Jason Miller helped arrange the plane, and Argentine media say President Miley's adviser was waiting at the border. Brazil's federal police have no record of Bolsonaro leaving through any official checkpoint. Bolsonaro now says he left because of "persecution" and plans to lead Brazil's resistance from exile in the US.
