Serbian activists claim to have bags with torn Ministry of Finance documents.
Belgrade Remains, an activist movement associated with the student protests, says its "mobile teams" obtained dozens of shredded paper bags taken from the Treasury and the government's Directorate of Shared Services on Wednesday afternoon. A video posted by the group shows a van loaded with bags. Among the stubs are some torn but legible pages, including the end of an official letter signed by "Director, Prof. Dr. Diane Djorjevic" commenting on a draft law. The stack also includes a book with former President Aleksandar Vucic on the cover, notebooks, business cards and a conference badge. The group says the material will be kept as potential evidence and handed over to authorities after consultation with the student list, which won Sunday's election. "Nothing must be hidden, nothing must disappear without a trace," she wrote. Belgrade remains unexplained as to how it received the bags or from whom.
