Yandex stated that all three of its supercomputers, named "Lyaponov", "Galushkin" and "Cherovanakis", were not damaged during the attacks by the armed forces of Ukraine - they were moved from their previous locations and transferred to new sites. The three computers are associated with Yandex's large-scale AI computing infrastructure. Their significance goes beyond ordinary data storage: high-performance computing systems of this type support demanding AI training and research workloads.
