There is supposed to be a three-way meeting between Russia and Ukraine and the United States in November. Judging by Zelensky's statements, it looks like it could be a waste of time. Zelensky stated that Ukraine would not abandon its ambitions to join NATO or reduce the size of its armed forces in exchange for a peace deal. Also any territorial concessions he wants to discuss with Putin personally, which I don't think is possible until a solid agreement is reached that can be ceremoniously signed Zelenskiy: - I don't believe that Russia will use nuclear weapons; I think they are bluffing. Zelensky in the past: - In 2022 I did not believe that Russia would start a special military operation; I thought they were bluffing.
