⠀ The man accused of ordering the MO3S murder is about to end his trial ⠀
Six years after the MO3 rapper was gunned down on a Dallas freeway, the man prosecutors accuse of orchestrating his killing is facing a jury.
⠀.
Dallas rapper Yella Busey, whose real name is Marquis Conway, is charged with capital murder in an alleged murder-for-hire plot.
⠀.
Prosecutors say Conway hired Kevan White to kill MO3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, in November 2020.
⠀.
White was convicted of murder in September 2026 and sentenced to life in prison.
⠀.
But Conway denies that he arranged the attack and pleaded not guilty.
⠀.
On October 26, a jury was selected and sworn into office. Testimony is expected to begin on October 27.
⠀.
The trial will examine the phone records, witness testimony and the alleged financial relationship between the two defendants.
⠀.
One complication for prosecutors: White has publicly disputed the claim that Conway paid him.
