PCI Russian coal prices in China fell below $200 per ton. Over the past three months, Russian PCI has been actively increasing in price due to supply shortages. Now prices are falling due to weak demand from Chinese metallurgists and the restoration of production in China. Prices for Russian PCI during the week of October 23 fell by $5-8, to $192-200 per ton CFR in China. Some Chinese buyers offered $180, but the sellers refused. In Indonesia, Russian PCI also fell in price by $10, to $210 per ton. GZh-grade coking coal from Kuzbass was offered in China at $155-173 per ton, from Kotia at $155. A few batches of Kuzbass coal dropped in price to $146-148. Moreover, analysts expect a further drop in prices in the next two months, but not below $170-175 per ton. Analysts estimate the critical level for Russian exporters at $115-130. Koala on Telegram | up to MAX.
