Britain's Conservative Party unveiled plans for a £10bn air and missile defense system dubbed Shield Britain, which shared Israel's Iron Dome model.
The system will incorporate advanced radar, upgraded command systems, interceptor missiles and drone technology, while significantly increasing Britain's missile stockpile.
Shadow Defense Secretary James Cartlidge said it would protect critical infrastructure, military bases, UK territory and overseas bases, with an initial deployment capability planned in the first term of a future Conservative government.
