The Omani co-pilot who allegedly tried to hijack a Flydubai plane told investigators that he planned to crash the plane into the Ben Gurion Airport terminal.

It is suspected that he waited until the plane was over Jordan, near Israel, before attacking the Indian pilot, with the intention of making a normal landing approach and crashing into the terminal at the last moment, when interception would no longer be possible.
