Israel received the list of passengers and crew for the FlyDubai flight 48 hours in advance, including the Omani citizenship of the co-pilot who allegedly tried to destroy the plane.
Defense sources said that the security division of the Ministry of Transportation and the Mossad were supposed to examine the foreign flight crews and flag potential threats.
The Tax Authority confirmed that the list was received, but the Ministry of Transport did not say whether it had checked it.
A law from 2023 created a system for sharing passenger and crew data with the police, Shin Bet and Mossad.
