Chinese companies provide dual-use products that can serve both civilian and military purposes, especially components critical to Houthi drone technology.

This gives the Houthis another supply channel beyond Iran. For years, Iran's Revolutionary Guard used small fishing boats to smuggle weapons, missile parts and drone components into Yemen, but many shipments were intercepted. The Houthis also used roads through Djibouti and Somalia, while supplies now also come from China.

Iranian technology still forms the core of the Houthis' arsenal, but Chinese dual-use components are becoming increasingly important to maintaining and expanding their drone capabilities.
