Iran's rial reached a record low, the dollar on the free market crossed 240,000 tomans and traded around 243,000-244,000.
The currency more than doubled in a year (it was ~111,000 tomans to the dollar a year ago).
The official rate remains at ~173,000 tomans, which creates a huge gap.
