Republic of Ireland players are considering boycotting Sunday's Nations League game against Israel after goalkeeper Gavin Bazzonu said he did not want to play in protest of Israel's actions in Gaza.

Republic of Ireland players are considering boycotting Sunday's Nations League game against Israel after goalkeeper Gavin Bazzonu said he did not want to play in protest of Israel's actions in Gaza.

Players held meetings at their team hotel in Hungary to discuss whether to collectively refuse to play. Captain Dara O'Shea said all views would be respected before any decision was made.
