"Iran delivered to the USA, through Qatar, a concrete plan of seven days. If the necessary conditions are met, it will be possible to reopen the strait and restore the normal maritime passage within seven days."

Argachi said the next step depends on Washington:

"The choice is now in the hands of the United States."

The reported plan includes a seven-day pause in regional hostilities, the release of at least $12 billion in frozen Iranian assets, the lifting of sanctions on Iranian oil, and an end to the US naval blockade. Iran will reopen Hormuz on the seventh day of the truce.

"If there is seriousness on the American side to reach a deal and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, everything is ready now."
