Pardo said that the US made it clear that "any help China gives to Iran is completely unacceptable."

He added that "President Trump has done a great job making sure that China knows that this is unacceptable" and said that Beijing has already shown movement on the issue.

"We have already seen movement on the issue. This is the commitment. They assured us that they are not doing it."
