NEW: The Sudanese army today confirmed the capture of Sudari, described as the RSF's last significant urban stronghold in North Kordofan.

It caps a two-week offensive that has recaptured more than 11 areas after drone strikes and ground advances from Barra and Jabarat al-Sheikh.

According to reports, the forces are now a few kilometers from al-Mazroub and pushing south towards Khui, with RSF remnants around al-Mazroub and Umm Badr.

Sudari sits on key routes between RSF-held Darfur and Kordofan, holding it to tighten pressure on RSF's remaining supply lines.
