Pope Leo arrived in France for a four-day visit.

During the trip, he will meet President Macron, visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Lourdes, give an important speech on artificial intelligence at UNESCO, and discuss the future of Europe in Metz.

More than a million people are expected to attend events during the trip.

Leo was greeted by Macron at Orly airport near Paris, as church bells rang across France to mark his arrival.
