Foreign Minister Abbas Argachi said the US would have seven days after accepting the offer to meet undisclosed conditions based on the June Islamabad deal, which covered sanctions relief, asset freezes and a cessation of military operations.

Tehran is awaiting a response from the US and says it prefers talks to resume before the US midterm elections in early November.
