WATCH: Turkey's MKE successfully test-fired its PİRANA kamikaze unmanned surface ship during the Denizkurdu-I 2026 naval exercise, hitting a surface target with a 100kg live warhead for the first time.

Designed with a cheap, simple and effective philosophy, PİRANA can operate alone or in packs, using stealth features to evade radar.

It reaches speeds of over 40 knots, has a mission range exceeding 200 nautical miles, and can be remotely controlled by radio or satellite, or operated autonomously.

It also integrates with drones. A previous test linked it with TCG ANADOLU and the Bayraktar TB3 drone.
