Syria's Ministry of Interior graduated the first all-women police class, about 150 female police officers from the new El-Tal Women's Police Institute, after six months of training.

The ceremony included a drill, weapon demonstrations and an oath, with the participation of ministers and senior diplomats.

Over 15,000 women applied.

The graduates will be deployed across the office's units nationwide for community policing, women's cases and other positions.
