Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda on Ukraine:

In the last 55 months, Russia has suffered one and a half million military casualties. In the last year, it gained 0.3% of Ukraine's territory at the cost of over 400,000 dead and wounded soldiers.

And yet all these enormous efforts, all this blood and tears basically went for naught.

Ukraine still stands proudly as an independent country. Ukrainian language, culture and national identity are alive and thriving.
