Turkish President Erdogan:

The State of Palestine, which is officially recognized by the overwhelming majority of member states here, but His Excellency Mahmoud Abbas, the respected President of the State of Palestine, has not been able to attend these meetings for two consecutive years.

This injustice against our Palestinian brothers and sisters deeply hurts the conscience of humanity.

Let it be known that although President Abbas is unable to be here with us in person, we, as we did last year, will continue to be the voice of a free and sovereign state of Palestine.
