King Abdullah II of Jordan on Gaza:

President Trump has pushed hard for a way to end this war.

But this Israeli government continues to move the gate posts, continues its attacks and destruction of civilian infrastructure, refuses to withdraw, and squeezes Palestinians into barely a third of Gaza.

This can no longer be excused as temporary military measures or as a result of war.

Responsibility begins when we call things as they are: an attempt to erase Palestinian lives and impose a new territorial reality in Gaza.
