A fishing net in Florida recovered a UAV replica of a Shahed-136 from the Gulf of Mexico near the Eglin Air Force Base.
Eglin confirmed that it lost a UAV during the test, but did not confirm that it was the same drone.
The recovered UAV matches the FLM-136/LUCAS – an American reverse-engineered copy of Iran's Shahed-136, costing $35,000 per unit and seeing its first combat use against Iran.
It was missing the engine, the thrust and the nose ring due to water impact.
