I have been following AI for a long time. In fact, in 2015, '16, the last two years of my presidency, I was focused on that.

Assembled a committee of the best minds in this field to talk not only about the technology, but also about the political, social, economic and ethical concerns surrounding it. Produced a great report.

Apparently, it was put in the same bin as my plague proposal. This was not picked up by the administration that followed.
