We have occupation, and we've had slavery, and Native Americans have been taken out of their land, and we've done a bunch of horrible things.

But at our best, what came out of that American Revolution was this different idea.

And that is the kind of leadership that we not only believe we can develop, but I argue must be developed at this time, at this moment in our history.
