US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee in Lebanon:

The Lebanese understood that Israel did not want to annex one meter of Lebanese property.

They don't want to be there. They want to go home. They're reservists. They're exhausted. They want to return to their families.

But they do not intend to abandon the people in northern Israel to continued rocket, missile and drone attacks.

They are going to stay until the LAF is strong enough to be the securing force.
