The US and Denmark are nearing a possible agreement that would expand the US military presence in Greenland.

The deal would fall short of President Donald Trump's previous interest in buying the island, but could allow Greenlandic territory to be used for the Golden Dome missile defense system and limit Chinese influence on the island.
