Ireland's national broadcaster, RTÉ, will boycott Eurovision 2027 over Israel's participation, citing the "appalling and ongoing loss of life in Gaza".

Ireland will not send an entry and will not broadcast the event in Bulgaria.

It also skipped the 2026 competition, along with the Netherlands, Iceland, Slovenia and Spain, in protest of Israel's inclusion.
