Algeria revoked the accreditation of Sky News Arabia's bureau in Algiers, shortly after it severed diplomatic ties with the United Arab Emirates and accused Abu Dhabi of "an increasing number of provocative or hostile actions" and "unjustified behavior".
The decision comes as tensions between the two countries deepen, with Algeria also closing its airspace to civilian and military aircraft registered in the United Arab Emirates.
The reasons for targeting Sky News Arabia have not been officially disclosed, but the Abu Dhabi-based broadcaster is owned by Emirati media group International Media Investments.
