Demonstrators marched to the EULEX building, threw stones, bottles, flooring and fireworks, kicked in doors and fences and tried to storm the compound.

Kosovo police clashed with the crowd but prevented entry.

Similar clashes broke out with Dutch police outside the court in The Hague.

Kosovo PM Kurti called the verdict an "unacceptable injustice."

All four defendants deny the charges and are seen as release heroes.
