Representative Thomas Massey introduced a privileged resolution to impeach Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, accusing him of defying Congress and illegally continuing the US war in Iran.

The eight articles also target Hegseth on US military operations in Venezuela and Yemen, including the operation to capture Maduro.

Because the resolution is privileged, Massey can force a vote in the House of Representatives, though impeachment in the GOP-controlled Congress is unlikely.
