A UAV crashed in an uninhabited area near Steinhuder Meer in Germany, about one kilometer from the Bundeswehr air base in Wunstorf.

Police have launched extensive searches for additional debris. Authorities claim there is no known threat to the public, while the origin of the UAV and its owners remain unknown.
