Michigan Sen.-elect Abdul El-Sayed launched Habibi PAC to fund Democratic allies and expand his political influence days after winning a landslide victory in the Senate.
Al-Sayed, who will become the first Muslim senator in the US, has campaigned against military aid to Israel and faced attacks on his religion from Trump and Republicans.
His new PAC takes its name from the Arabic term "habibi," which he used to mock JD Vance during his victory speech.
