Trump aides have grown increasingly frustrated with his focus on White House renovation projects in the wake of sweeping Republican losses in the midterms, with some staffers considering leaving the administration.
Current and former officials told MS NOW that morale is low, Trump refuses to accept responsibility for the defeat, and his attention remains on construction projects costing more than $600 million.
One former official warned that Trump's MAGA agenda may be beyond bailout, while another said workers are already trying to "jump ship."
Allies also worry that Trump will struggle to recruit and retain personnel during his final two years in office, especially with Democrats now in control of Congress.
