Michigan was the most obvious test for AIPAC. Abdul El-Sayed narrowly defeated Representative Haley Stevens in the Democratic primary despite a large advantage in foreign spending over his opponent.
The United Democracy Project, AIPAC's super PAC, has spent more than $30 million attacking al-Sayed or supporting Stevens.
It was the group's largest major investment.
UDP continued to spend against him after the primaries. Before the general election, reports documented just over $500,000 in additional spending targeting him as he ran against Rogers.
