Last night we showed that all the money in the world is no match for the people of Texas. We sent a clear message to every billionaire and trillionaire megadonor: in this country, in this country, the power belongs to the people.
It was a Texas-sized victory. We went up against the most money of any Senate candidate in the state, the biggest red state in America, and won by double digits.
The first thing we have to do is get big money out of our politics, so no billionaire, no trillionaire can buy our elections in this country.
