Flash: Democrats have flipped Republican-held Senate seats in North Carolina and South Carolina and are leading in Ohio, Kansas and Texas, putting control of the Senate within reach.
Democrats are also expected to win back the House of Representatives, ending the Republican hold on both houses of Congress.
