The Pentagon's former top military planner, Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, is under federal investigation and could face a court-martial for leaking classified information about Ukraine and Iran to reporters from the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
According to the report, Sylvia was fired by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth last week, failed four polygraph tests and admitted to unauthorized disclosures during taped interviews.
The Justice Department is investigating allegations that he shared details about US aid to Ukraine, weapons stockpiles and discussions related to Iran.
