James Tallarico on Elon Musk:
The thing that really upsets people, especially about the Elon example, is that Tesla was successful because of taxpayer money.
Tesla received investment from the federal government, which is why it has been so successful.
If we're all going to invest in Tesla, if we're going to invest in Elon Musk, or choose your billionaire, most of our billionaires went to schools that we funded, they drove highways that we funded.
We're not saying they can't succeed.
All we're saying is make sure you give something back to the country that made your success possible.
