China's Communist Party has approved the expulsion of 33 officials, including former Politburo member Ma Xingrui and senior military leader Zhang Yuxia, according to state media.
Others expelled include former military official Liu Zhenli, senior diplomat Liu Jianchao, former industry minister Jin Zhuanglong and former head of securities regulator Yi Huiman.
