Trump took credit for Benjamin Netanyahu's stronger-than-expected showing in the Israeli election, reposting a quote on Truth Social saying his endorsement turned the race.
"When President Trump supported Bibi Netanyahu, the whole tide turned," and turned what was "a decisive defeat for a great prime minister" into "a great stalemate that came from behind, or even a victory for Netanyahu."
He adds that all this happened "after the approval of President Trump".
