Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski on Ukraine:
The American negotiators are wrong in that they assume that this is a war only over territory.
They think that if Ukraine just gives up the last two cities in the Donbass, Putin will be able to save face and the war will end.
Maybe there will be some kind of break. But the Soviet Union minus Ukraine is Russia without great power status.
To be a global superpower, Russia needs Ukraine.
