Netanyahu holding an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for war crimes is not Israel's business at all. The State of Israel will protect him.
If Netanyahu loses and moves to the opposition, he may not see this as the end of his political career - but as an interruption.
His calculation could be: the government is fragile, my right-wing camp is strong. I can come back like last time from the opposition.
