A group of armed women in Yemen's Taiz province has declared their willingness to fight the Houthis alongside government forces.

"We have no choice but victory or martyrdom. Either we live as free people, or we die as dead with our heads held high," said one woman.

"We will never give up, we will not give up," she added, addressing the fighters on several fronts in Taiz.
