In the Terminal-Bench 4.0 agent encoding benchmark, Moonshot reports a score of 65.7%, ahead of OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra at 58.2% and just behind Anthropic's Cloud Opus 5.5 at 66.4%.

Independent assessor Artificial Intelligence rated it at 67%, the highest of any model it tested.

API pricing is set at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, a third lower than its predecessor and well below leading closed-loop models.

Moonshot said it removed cyber-related training data from the open-weight version to limit abuse.
